How do we define joy? What can it look like in our classroom?
Join the Intrepid Museum for a 90-minute professional development focused on the presence of joy and belonging in our lives and classrooms as we begin to reflect on the 2024-2025 school year.
Participants will explore objects from the Intrepid Museum that highlight various community perspectives. The session will discuss visual thinking strategies, or inquiry techniques, that you can use to engage students in the classroom! Additionally, the workshop will also include a hands-on activity focusing on incorporating student identity and belonging, which can be implemented in the upcoming school year.
This course provides 1.5 CTLE credits. Registered participants will receive a program link and other information prior to the programming date. Materials are not provided. Virtual check-in will begin at 5:45pm EST.
